History

Maurizio’s pizza was established in 1972 by 3 teachers in the Social Studies department at Terre Haute North High School, Glendon Campbell(Darla), Ron Stewart(Francie) and Jim Eslinger(Carol), and is currently owned by the sons of Jim and Carol Eslinger, Eric and Jim.
Maurizio’s still uses all of the original recipes, and is famous for the “747 pizza”. A 20” pizza with your choice of toppings. Since the 70’s, Maurizio’s has sold pizza, sandwiches, spaghetti, and salads, and through the years has added in Breadsticks, Wings, and expanded choices on sandwiches, plus several new pizza toppings. Maurizio’s has been a Terre Haute landmark for over 50 years!
